Approaches to the meaning of and prevention programs for school violence through the Participation of the Youth : Using Photovoice Methodology

Abstract
The purpose of this study were to find out the meaning of school violences of the youth, and to propose an approach to school violence prevention program through photovoice method which could reflect live comments of them who concerned to school violences. As the result of photovoice treatments on the experimental group, the meaning of school violences which the youth commented was `the time had to pass till the end` which never ends before the graduation in `the space where the light and darkness coexisted in` to whoever the assaulters, the victims, and the bystanders were, and, they lived their own life just `integrated with their own adaptation methods`. And the approaches to school violence prevention program which they suggested were dynamic solutions to problems or training with participations. And, they also suggested the school systems which could help them to make victim-centered self-reliance groups with the students who could be the gatekeepers for preventing school violences.
